This bulletin provides Service Manual updates for V6 and V8 accessory drive belt routings for 1988 and 1989 Camaro and 1989 Caprice models.

FIGURE 1 - SLACK SIDE BELT ROUTING

The 1989 Camaro models equipped with V8 engines and Caprice models equipped with 5.0L (VIN Code E, RPO L03) or 4.3L (VIN Code Z, RPO LB4)
engines, excluding Caprice models used as police (RPO 9C1) and taxi cab (RPO 9C6), will be using a new slack side belt routing as shown in Figure 1
of this service bulletin.
