Condition
Some customers may comment on an illuminated MIL light. After the technician performs strategy-based diagnostics, the technician may find the
following code stored in the PCM.

Important:
All DTC's, technician observations, and customer comments are to be recorded on the repair order in accordance with article 1.6.2 of the General
Motors Service Policies and Procedures Manual.
Cause
Certain driving conditions, such as WOT (wide open throttle) upshifts may cause the MAF to exceed air flow parameters and set the code.
Correction
If no vehicle conditions are found when performing the appropriate service procedure for the complaint P-code, then use the Tech II to verity which
software calibration is currently programmed into the vehicle's Powertrain Control Module (PCM). If it doesn't match that shown in the new calibration
table below, install the appropriate calibration listed below. Test drive the vehicle after repair to ensure that the condition has been corrected.
