Removal Procedure
1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Service and
Repair/Cooling System Draining and Filling).
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
3. Disengage tension on the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) at the engine using J 38185 - Hose Clamp Pliers.
4. Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the engine.
