Camaro V8-6.2L (2010)
4. Position the power steering pump and the bracket (1) as an assembly in the vehicle.
5. Install the 3 power steering pump bracket bolts (1, 2, 3). Tighten the power steering pump bracket bolts in sequence to 58 Nm (43 lb ft).
6. Install the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the vehicle. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement (See:
Power Steering Line/Hose/Service and Repair/Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement).
7. Fill the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid (See: Service and Repair/Checking and Adding
Power Steering Fluid).
8. Remove the cap from the power steering gear inlet hose. When fluid starts to flow from the hose, cap the hose with your thumb. Ensure the O-ring
seal is on the hose and is in good condition.
9. Remove the plug from the power steering pump outlet port and quickly connect the power steering gear inlet hose to the power steering pump.

10. Clean any excess power steering fluid from the vehicle.
11. Install the power steering pump pulley to the power steering pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement (See: Power Steering
Pump Pulley Replacement).
12. Remove the cover from the air conditioning compressor.
13. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding (See: Power Steering Bleeding/Service and Repair).
14. Remove the drain pans.
15. Install the front intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front ().
