3. Align the reference mark (2) on the steering knuckle (3) and the strut assembly (1).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
4. Install the front suspension strut bolts (2) and nuts (1) and tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb ft) plus an additional 180 degrees.
5. Install the front lower control arm. Refer to Front Lower Control Front Arm Replacement (See: Control Arm/Service and Repair/Front
Suspension).
6. Install the front rear lower control arm. Refer to Front Lower Control Rear Arm Replacement (See: Control Arm/Control Arm Bushing/Service
and Repair/Front Suspension).
7. Install the outer tie rod end. Refer to Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod Replacement (See: Steering/Tie Rod/Service and Repair/Steering Linkage
Outer Tie Rod Replacement).
8. Install the wheel bearing/hub assembly. Refer to Front Wheel Bearing and Hub Replacement (See: Wheel Bearing/Service and Repair/Front
Suspension).
9. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair).
10. Install the speed sensor. Refer to Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement (See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control
Systems/Wheel Speed Sensor/Service and Repair/Front Wheel Speed Sensor Replacement).
11. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair).
