Camaro V8-6.2L (2010)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
Note: Hand start the ring gear bolts in a criss cross pattern
2. Install the ring gear bolts (1) and tighten in sequence to 120 Nm (89 lb ft).
3. Determine and install the selective shim for the pinion gear. Refer to Pinion Depth Adjustment ().
4. Install the drive pinion bearings. Refer to Differential Drive Pinion Gear Bearing Replacement (See: Pinion Bearing/Service and Repair).
5. Install the drive pinion flange and the NEW pinion oil seal. Refer to Drive Pinion Flange/Yoke and/or Oil Seal Replacement (See: Pinion
Flange/Service and Repair).
6. Install the rear differential assembly. Refer to Differential Replacement ().
7. Using the proper axle fluid, fill the rear differential with fluid. Refer to Differential Oil Replacement (See: Fluid - Differential/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement).
