SERVICE UPDATE
This bulletin is being issued to inform dealers that the pinch welds on the rocker panels have been covered by a reinforcement and cannot be utilized
effectively to facilitate frame pulling/straightening. Thus, it will be necessary for the repair technician to obtain or create pinch weld tabs. These tabs are
to be placed on the inboard forward and rearward ends of the rocker reinforcement.
These tabs can be purchased through GM Dealer Equipment and come in two styles, "L" and "T" types. The "T" type is recommended for convertible
applications.
