Owner comments on Caprice sun visors that are loose and will not hold position can be addressed by replacing the sleeve with a new thicker sleeve, PIN
17927383.
1.
Loosen tensioning screw and remove sunshade from support.
2.
Extract clear plastic sleeve from sunshade using needle nose pliers and replace with new sleeve (black plastic), P/N 17927383.
3.
Check rod on support assembly to be sure it does not turn within the support. If rod turns replace support assembly.
4.
Reinstall sunshade and check for proper operation.
