When repairing vehicles with this condition, new improved parts are available from WDDGM. The new parts that make up the seat back release system
can not be used with parts from the original system. Therefore, when required, parts from the original system must be completely replaced with new
parts. To determine if a system is of the new type, inspect the end of the cable assembly that attaches to the new release handle. A cable that is part of the
new system will have an opening that engages the release handle. See illustration.
