THIS BULLETIN CANCELS AND SUPERSEDES DEALER SERVICE BULLETIN NO. 91-154-10, DATED JANUARY 1991. THE
INFORMATION HAS BEEN COMPLETELY REVISED.  ALL COPIES OF 91-154-10 SHOULD BE DISCARDED.

Condition:

Wind noise/buffeting from roof area of vehicle.

Cause:

Roof rack cross rails

Correction:

Replace BOTH front and rear cross rails with new parts as outlined in the Service Manual.

IMPORTANT:

The rail assemblies MUST be replaced as a set due to the slight change in shape. Using an old rail with a new rail will not correct the
wind noise condition and may result in unacceptable appearance.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.

IMPORTANT:Incorrect positioning of the new rails still has the potential to cause a buffeting noise. The correct position for the rails is either

completely together, or at least 200 mm (8 inches) apart.
