THIS BULLETIN CANCELS AND SUPERSEDES DEALER SERVICE BULLETIN NO. 91-17-1B, DATED MAY 1990. THE PART NUMBER
FOR THE SCREW HAS BEEN CORRECTED. ALL COPIES OF 91-17-1B SHOULD BE DISCARDED.

CONDITION:

Broken pedestal attachment on the HVAC module for the temperature control cable, see Figure 1.

CAUSE:

The end of the pedestal could be broken when trying to remove the HVAC control head from the dash, without first disconnecting the temperature
control cable at the module.

CORRECTION:

Fabricate new metal mounting plate for the temperature control cable attachment, using the following parts and procedure.
