INCORRECT WHEEL WRENCHES
TO:
ALL INVOLVED CHEVROLET DEALERS
General Motors has determined that some 1983 Chevrolet 30 Series G-Vans were shipped from the assembly plant with incorrect wheel wrenches. These
wrenches will not fit the wheel lug nuts on these vans, preventing removal of the wheel and tire.
Dealers are to check the wheel wrench. If the wrench is incorrect, replace it with the correct wrench.
To minimize inconvenience, the owner letter advised all owners they may check the wrench fit themselves.
They were also advised they may elect to have their dealer check and replace the wrench at no charge.
