Radiator: Service and Repair
There is a updated Removal and Installation procedure for this vehicle. See TSB# 63-62-05 (11/1996)
1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then discharge and recover air conditioning refrigerant.
2. Drain engine coolant.
3. Remove hood latch and both headlight assemblies.
4. Remove radiator mounts, then raise and support vehicle.
5. Remove cooling fan assembly, then lower radiator hose and oil cooler lines.
6. Lower vehicle, then remove hood latch support and forward sensor w/harness.
7. Disconnect upper radiator hose, overflow hose, then compressor and accumulator hoses.
8. Remove radiator/condenser assembly.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
