Oil Level Sensor For ECM: Service and Repair

Oil Level Sensor

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Drain the oil from crankcase.
3. Remove the oil level switch electrical connector.
4. Remove the attaching bolt (1).
5. Remove the oil level switch (2).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the oil level switch (2).
2. Install the attaching bolt (1).

Tighten
Bolt to 8-12 Nm (6-9 lb. ft.).      

3. Install the oil level switch electrical connector.
4. Refill the crankcase with engine oil.
