WARNING:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove horn pad and steering wheel. Refer to Steering and Suspension / Steering / Steering Wheel. See: Steering and
Suspension/Steering/Steering Wheel/Service and Repair
3. Remove tilt lever from column, if equipped, Fig. 13.
4. Remove upper and lower steering column covers.
5. Remove dampener assembly, then the headlight switch assembly.
6. Remove windshield wiper switch assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
