Whenever the side cover or bottom pan has been removed on any THM 125/125C it is necessary to use LOCTITE 242 (or equivalent) to reduce the
potential for leaks on the bolts indicated in the illustration.

Clean the bolts with a suitable solvent to insure that they are free of dirt and oil. Apply Loctite 242 GMSPO P/N 12345382 (or equivalent) to each bolt
and allow it to fully cure according to the sealant manufacturer's instructions.
