1.
Remove engine from vehicle as described under ENGINE.
2.
Remove pushrods and valve lifters.
3.
Remove engine front cover as outlined under ENGINE FRONT COVER.
4.
Remove timing chain and sprocket as outlined under TIMING CHAIN.
5.
Withdraw camshaft from engine, using care not to damage camshaft bearings.
6.
Reverse procedure to install. When installing timing chain, align valve timing marks as shown in Fig. 8.
