Identifiers for the 3rd clutch (fiber) plate assemblies for all 1986 through 1991 HYDRAMATIC 4T60, and 1991 HYDRA-MATIC 4T60-E transaxles.
The 3rd clutch plate assemblies discussed in Dealer Service Bulletin NO. 86-191 and Dealer Service Bulletin No. 90-21-7A have many different
identifier markings. To avoid confusion, it is recommended to order all overhaul and 3rd clutch plate assembly packages by the model and year of the
transaxle.
