Thermostat

REMOVAL

1. Partially drain coolant. Refer to Draining and Refilling.
2. Remove radiator hose from coolant outlet.
3. Remove coolant outlet attaching bolts.
4. Remove coolant outlet and thermostat.
5. Clean inlet manifold mating surfaces and coolant outlet mating surfaces.

INSTALLATION

1. Install thermostat.
2. Install coolant outlet to inlet manifold.
3. Install attaching bolts with sealer and torque to 25 Nm (18 lb. ft.).
4. Install radiator hose to coolant outlet.
5. Refill coolant. Refer to Draining and Refilling.
6. Inspect for leaks.
