Cobalt L4-2.4L VIN B (2006)
Important: Clean any existing oxidation from the contact face of the battery terminal and battery cable using a wire brush before installing the battery
cable to the battery terminal.
1. Position the negative battery cable (3) to the battery.
2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten the negative battery cable bolt (2).

Tighten the bolt to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the rear compartment trim panel.
4. Reset the radio stations and the clock.
