3. To inspect for this foam seal, lower the run channel and verify the seal is in position as shown. If the seal is out of position, reposition the seal and
reinstall the run channel.
4. If the run channel foam seal is missing, install a piece of Kent Industries P/N P40100 (15 mm x 3 mm (5/8 in x 1/8 in)) Adhesive Backed Shim
Stock*. Trim to fit as shown. Reinstall the run channel.
Rear Door Fixed Glass Wind Noise
Use the following steps to correct rear door fixed glass wind noise concerns.
1. Inspect the perimeter of the rear door fixed glass and ensure that the door glass run channel is correctly seated in the door frame.
If the run channel is not correctly positioned, reposition as necessary.
2. If the run channel is correctly seated to the body and the noise still exists, the foam seal attached to the run channel along the rear edge may be
missing or out of position.
3. To inspect for this foam seal, remove the rear door fixed glass as required in order to gain access as shown. Refer to Rear Side Door Stationary
Window Replacement in SI. If the seal is out of position, reposition the seal as shown.
4. If the run channel foam seal is missing, install a piece of Kent Industries P/N P40100 (15 mm x 3 mm (5/8 in x 1/8 in)) Adhesive Backed Shim
Stock*. Trim to fit as shown. Reinstall the run channel.
5. Reinstall the rear door fixed glass. Refer to Refer to Rear Side Door Stationary Window Replacement in SI.
