Colorado 2WD V8-5.3L (2009)
1. Install the rear shield to the vehicle.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install the rear shield bolts (1) and tighten to 75 Nm (55 lb ft).
3. Install the rear shield bolts (2) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
4. Install the front shield to the vehicle.
5. Install the front shield bolts (1) and tighten to 60 Nm (44 lb ft).
6. Install the front shield bolts (2) and tighten to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
