Shift Indicator: Testing and Inspection

Disconnect connector C3 (V6) or C1 (L4) from the ECM. Turn the ignition switch to "RUN" and measure the voltage at connector C3, terminal F6(V6)
or C1 terminal 7(L4).

a. If battery voltage is present, See COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS.

b. If no voltage is present, check TAN/BLK(456) wire for an open or short to ground.
