Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Throttle Position (TP) Sensor Location
REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Electrical connector from Throttle Position (TP) sensor.
2. TP sensor attaching screw assemblies.
3. TP sensor.
NOTE: The TP sensor is an electrical component, and should not be immersed in any type of liquid solvent or cleaner, as damage may result.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. With throttle valve closed, install TP sensor on throttle shaft. Rotate counterclockwise to align mounting holes.
2. Attaching screws.
Tighten
Attaching screws to 2.0 Nm (18 lb in).
3. TP sensor electrical connector.
