REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Valve rocker? covers.
3. Rocker arm bolts.

Keep components separated so they may be installed in the same location.
4. Rocker arm pivot ball(s).
5. Rocker arm(s).
6. Pushrods.
IMPORTANT
^
Place pushrods in order so they can be installed in their original position.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Pushrods.
^
Install pushrods in their original location.
^
Coat the ends of the pushrods with prelube GM P/N 1052356.
^
Intake valve push rods are painted with yellow stripes and measure 5.75 inches long.
^
Exhaust valve push rods are painted with green stripes and measure 6.0 inches long.
^
Make sure pushrods seat in lifter.
2. Rocker arms.
3. Rocker arm pivot balls.
IMPORTANT
^
Coat bearing surfaces of rocker arms and pivot balls with camshaft and lifter prelube GM P/N 1052365 (or equivalent).
4. Rocker arm bolts.
TIGHTEN
^
Bolts to 14 Nm (124 lb. in.) + 30°.
5. Valve rocker covers.
6. Negative battery cable.
