Corsica V6-3100 3.1L VIN M SFI (1996)
Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair
1. Remove Steering wheel as outlined in Steering Wheel. Refer to Steering and Suspension/Steering.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable, remove coil assembly retaining clip, then coil assembly. Let coil assembly hang freely.
3. Remove wave washer, then on standard columns remove spacer shaft lock.
4. Attach tool No. J-23563-C, or equivalent, compress shaft lock, then pry off retaining ring.
5. Remove shaft lock, then turn signal canceling cam assembly.
6. Remove upper bearing spring, then place turn signal to right turn position.
7. Remove multi-function lever, then hazard knob assembly.
8. On models with tilt and cruise control, remove signal switch arm assembly.
9. On all models, remove turn signal switch attaching screws, then turn signal switch.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
