Corvette V8-350 5.7L VIN P SFI (1996)
IMPORTANT: Before assembling the coupling to the water pump, apply a light coat of grease to the seals and the splines.
2. Install the coupling with the groove toward the engine.
3. Install new gaskets, with the tabs up, the water pump with the drive coupling, and mounting bolts.
TIGHTEN

Tighten the bolts to 41 Nm (30 lb ft).
4. Install the serpentine drive belt.
5. Install the ECT sensor wire harness retainer on the front of the water pump, and the electrical connector.
6. Connect the heater hose to the water pump.
