EVAP Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure

Notice: Numbers in text correspond to numbered components in image.

1. Disconnect the electrical connector

2. Disconnect the hoses from the solenoid valve (3).

3. Remove the bracket (2) and solenoid (3) from The intake manifold (1).

Installation Procedure

1. Install the solenoid valve (3) to the intake manifold (1). Tighten the Fastener (4) to the intake manifold (1) to 5.8 Nm (52 lb in).

2. Connect the electrical connector to the solenoid valve.

3. Connect the hoses to the solenoid valve (3).
