Pressure Regulating Solenoid: Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE  

1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. 
2. Remove the transmission oil pan. 
3. Compress the pressure regulator valve using a small screwdriver.

4. Remove the retaining ring and slowly release the spring tension.

5. Remove the reverse boost valve sleeve.
6. Remove the reverse boost valve.

7. Remove the pressure regulator valve inner and outer springs.
8. Remove the pressure regulator valve.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE  

1. Install the pressure regulator valve.
2. Install the pressure regulator valve outer and inner springs.
3. Install the reverse boost valve.
4. Install the reverse boost valve sleeve.
5. Compress the valve and install the retaining ring.
