7. Remove the heater inlet hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

Important:  Lubricate the inside diameters of the hose with clean coolant prior to installation.

1. Install the heater inlet hose on to the vehicle.
2. Connect the heater inlet hose to the water pump.
3. Engage tension on the heater inlet hose clamp at the water pump.
4. Connect the heater inlet hose to the underhood junction box retainer clip.
5. Connect the heater inlet hose to the heater pipe assembly.

6. Engage tension on the heater inlet hose clamp at the heater pipe assembly.
7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)  (See: Service and Repair)Cooling System Draining and Filling
