Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair
Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the left engine sight shield. Refer to Upper Intake Manifold Sight Shield Replacement (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Intake
Manifold/Service and Repair) .
2. Disconnect the engine vacuum pipe from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve to intake manifold EVAP pipe.
3. Disconnect the engine purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve.
