Differential Cooler Pump Inlet Hose Replacement

Differential Cooler Pump Inlet Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Lower and support the rear of the exhaust system.
3. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.
4. Remove the differential cooler pump inlet pipe retaining bolt.
5. Disconnect the differential cooler pump inlet pipe from the differential.
6. Disconnect the differential cooler pump inlet pipe from the differential cooler pump.
7. Remove the differential cooler inlet pipe from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the differential cooler inlet pipe to the vehicle.
2. Connect the differential cooler pump inlet pipe to the differential cooler pump.
3. Connect the differential cooler pump inlet pipe to the differential.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the differential cooler pump inlet pipe retaining bolt.

Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

5. Fill the differential fluid. Refer to Lubricant Level Inspection - Rear Drive Axle.
