5. Check the transmission fluid level, add fluid if necessary.
6. Remove the drain pan.
7. Install the driveline tunnel closeout panel.
8. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.

Removal Procedure

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Vehicle Lifting.
2. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.

Important: Cap or plug the open transmission fluid cooler pipes immediately to prevent system contamination.

3. Disconnect the intermediate transmission fluid cooler lower pipe from the rear transmission lower pipe.

4. Remove the transmission cooler pipe clip.
5. Remove the rear transmission lower pipe from the differential oil cooler.
6. Remove the rear transmission fluid cooler lower pipe from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the rear transmission fluid cooler lower pipe to the vehicle.
