assembled with the incorrect speedometer driven gear assembly.
The incorrect speedometer driven gear assembly will result in the speedometer indicating a vehicle speed which is approximately 10% slower than the
actual vehicle speed. For example, when the vehicle speed is 55 mph, the speedometer will indicate approximately 50 mph.
To correct this condition on your vehicle the speedometer will be inspected and when required replaced. This service will be performed for you at no
charge.
Instructions for this service have been sent to your Chevrolet dealer. Please contact your dealer to arrange a service date. The labor time to inspect your
vehicle is approximately 15 minutes. If the speedometer driven gear assembly must be replaced it will take an additional 20 minutes. Please ask your
dealer if you wish to know how much additional time will be needed to process your vehicle.
The enclosed Owner Reply Card identifies your vehicle. Presentation of this card to your dealer will assist them in making the necessary correction to
