Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LNJ)

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ GE 47716

Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 GE 47716 Fill).

2. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the heater core.
3. Remove the heater outlet hose (1) from the heater core.

4. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the engine.
5. Remove the heater outlet hose (1) from the engine.
6. Position the loose end of the heater outlet hose (1) outboard to ease in the removal of the surge tank.
