1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging. See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Refrigerant
Recovery and Recharging
2. Remove the left headlamp.
3. Remove the surge tank.
4. Remove the washer bottle.
5. Remove the battery.
6. Remove the battery box bolts from the battery box.
7. Disconnect the negative battery cable nut from the wheelhouse.
