Underhood Lamp: Service and Repair
Underhood Lamp Replacement (Retractable)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the retractable underhood (UH) lamp.
2. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the retractable underhood lamp to the hood.
3. Remove the retractable underhood lamp (1) from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

1. Install the retractable underhood lamp (1) to the vehicle.

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the retractable underhood lamp retaining bolts to the hood.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Connect the electrical connector to the retractable underhood lamp.
