Cigar Lighter/Auxiliary Outlet Circuit Description
CIGARETTE LIGHTER
The cigarette lighter assembly has power at all times from CIG LTR fuse 13 through CKT 640 (ORN). The cigarette lighter assembly has ground
through CKT 150 (BLK) at ground G201. Insertion and depression of the removable element makes an electrical connection which allows current
flow through the element's resistance. This current flow produces heat and thermal expansion. When the element reaches temperature, the
assembly automatically releases the element. The release stops the current flow and allows cooling of the element. Manually holding the element
in the depressed position may cause damage.
AUXILIARY POWER OUTLET
The auxiliary power outlet has power at all times from PWR AUX fuse 7 through CKT 840 (ORN). The auxiliary power outlet has ground through
CKT 150 (BLK) at ground G201. Connection of the auxiliary power user's insertion element makes an electrical connection which allows current
flow to the device in use.
