Express 1/2 Ton Van V8-5.7L VIN R (1999)
1. Connect the heater hose to the vehicle.
2. Install the hose support clamps, the brackets, or the retainers as necessary.
3. Install the hose clamps using the J 39529.
4. Install the coolant recovery reservoir or the surge tank.
5. Install the air cleaner, if necessary.
6. Fill the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Engine Cooling.
7. Verify that the system has no leaks.
Heater Pipe Repair - Auxiliary
REMOVAL PROCEDURE
You cannot service the auxiliary heater pipes as a complete unit. You can only section repair the pipes. Follow the steps provided in the auxiliary
heater pipes procedure.
