Auxiliary Power Outlet: Description and Operation
Upfitter Provision Circuit
Upfitter provisions has 2 connectors, C206 and C302. Cavity B of each connector is hot at all times from the AUX-B fuse through CKT 842 (RED).
Cavity A of each connector is hot only with the ignition switch in the RUN position or in the ACCY position through the upfitter provision relay.
Voltage is available at all times to the contacts of the upfitter provision relay through CKT 1042 (RED). When the ignition switch is in the RUN position
or in the ACCY position, voltage is available at the coil of the upfitter provision relay through CKT 43 (YEL). Because the relay's coil has ground at
ground G201 through CKT 150 (BLK), the relay energizes. The relay contacts close in order to apply voltage to the connectors through CKT 1042
(RED). Cavity D of connector C206 and connector C302 are the grounding connections to ground G106.
