Express 1500 RWD V6-4.3L VIN X (2005)
1. Install the wiper motor crank arm (3) on the wiper motor shaft while maintaining a 4-8 mm (0.157-0.314 in) gap between the wiper motor crank
arm and the bracket tab.
2. Install the nut (1) which secures the crank arm to the wiper motor shaft.
3. Measure the gap between wiper motor crank arm and the bracket tab. If the gap is not 4-8 mm (0.157-0.314 in), remove the crank arm and repeat
installation.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Tighten the wiper motor crank arm nut to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
4. Install the wiper transmission on the wiper motor crank arm using the J 39529.
5. Install the wiper motor module assembly.
