Rear Door Trim Plate Replacement

Rear Door Trim Plate Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the inside door handle bezel. Refer to Rear Door Inside Handle Bezel Replacement   (See: Rear Door Inside Handle Bezel Replacement).
2. Remove the screw (1) from the door trim plate (2).
3. Partially remove the trim plate (2) from the door trim panel.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the door lock switch, if equipped.
5. Remove the front door trim plate (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1. Partially install the door trim plate (2) to the door trim panel.
2. Connect the electrical connector to the door lock switch, if equipped.
3. Align the door trim plate (2) to the door trim panel

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

4. Install the screw (1) and tighten to 1.9 Nm (17 lb in).
5. Install the inside door handle bezel. Refer to Rear Door Inside Handle Bezel Replacement   (See: Rear Door Inside Handle Bezel Replacement).
