Express 2500 V8-6.6L DSL Turbo (2010)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair
).
Note: Support the caliper with heavy mechanic's wire or equivalent. DO NOT disconnect the hydraulic brake hose from the caliper.
2. Remove the brake caliper from the caliper bracket. Refer to Front Brake Caliper Replacement (JH5) (See: Front Brake Caliper Replacement
(JH5)) Front Brake Caliper Replacement (JH6, JH9) (See: Front Brake Caliper Replacement (JH6, JH9)).
3. Remove the brake pads from the caliper bracket.
4. Remove the brake pad retainers.
5. Remove the caliper pins, seals, and bushings from the caliper bracket.
