Removal Procedure
1. Partially drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Cooling System
Draining and Filling (Static Fill)) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) (See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Cooling System
Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill)) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill LGH) (See: Service and Repair/Procedures/Cooling System
Draining and Filling (Static Fill VIN L)).
2. Disconnect the hose from the coolant recovery reservoir.
3. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir retaining screws.
4. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the coolant recovery reservoir.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
2. Install the coolant recovery reservoir retaining screws and tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb in).
3. Connect the hose to the coolant recovery reservoir.
