Express 2500 V8-6.6L DSL Turbo (2010)
1. Install new O-rings (2) to the oil filter adapter and oil cooler assembly.
Lubricate the O-rings with engine oil.
2. Apply sealer to the O-ring sealing area (1). Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers (See: Specifications/Adhesives, Fluids,
Lubricants, and Sealers).
3. Install the water pump outlet pipe, oil filter adapter and oil cooler assembly (2).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
4. Install the oil filter adapter and oil cooler assembly bolts (1) and nuts and tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb ft).
5. Install the water pump outlet pipe bolts. Refer to Water Pump Outlet Pipe Replacement (LMM) (See: Water Pump/Service and Repair/Water

6. Install the EGR cooler hose/pipe assembly. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Cooler Replacement (See: Powertrain
Management/Emission Control Systems/Exhaust Gas Recirculation/EGR Cooler/Service and Repair/Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve Cooler
Replacement).
