Fuel Strainer Bowl Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Drain the fuel from the fuel filter. Refer to Water-in-Fuel Draining   (See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel/Water

Separator/Service and Repair/Procedures).

2. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

3. Remove the diesel fuel strainer bowl assembly.

Installation Procedure

Note:  The water-in-fuel sensor must ONLY be tightened by hand.
