Removal Procedure
1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) (See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Service
and Repair/Procedures/Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill)) Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill) (See: Engine,
Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Service and Repair/Procedures/Cooling System Draining and Filling (Vac N Fill)) Cooling System Draining

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (See: Vehicle Lifting/Service and Repair).
3. Remove the heater hose from the radiator outlet hose.
4. Remove the radiator outlet hose clamp (1) at surge tank using J 38185 - Hose Clamp
Pliers.
5. Disconnect the quick connect fitting on the radiator outlet hose (2) at the radiator.
6. Remove the radiator outlet hose (3) from the radiator.
