Removal Procedure
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (See: Negative/Service and Repair/Battery
Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection).
2. Disconnect the positive battery cable from the battery.
3. Remove the positive cable nut from the junction block and disconnect the cable.
4. Remove the positive cable nut from the generator and disconnect the cable.
5. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement (See: Body and Frame/Access Cover/Service and Repair).
