Express 3/4 Ton Van V8-4.8L VIN V (2003)
1. Install the hinge pillar trim panel to the vehicle.
2. Align the locator pins. Press on the hinge pillar trim panel in order to engage the retaining clips.
3. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement - Left (See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and Repair/Knee Bolster
Replacement - Left) for the left knee bolster panel or Knee Bolster Replacement - Right (See: Dashboard / Instrument Panel/Service and
Repair/Knee Bolster Replacement - Right) for the right panel.

Removal Procedure
1. Remove the passenger side assist handle if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement - Front (See: Passenger Assist Handle/Service and
Repair/Assist Handle Replacement - Front) .
2. Grasp and gently pull the windshield garnish molding in order to release the clips.
3. Remove the windshield garnish molding from the vehicle.
4. Inspect the windshield garnish molding for broken or missing retaining clips.
Replace the windshield garnish molding or clips as needed.
Installation Procedure
1. Install the windshield garnish molding to the vehicle.
2. Align the clips and press on the windshield garnish molding in order to engage the clips.
3. Install the passenger side assist handle if equipped. Refer to Assist Handle Replacement - Front (See: Passenger Assist Handle/Service and
Repair/Assist Handle Replacement - Front) .
