3. Locate the part by lining up the two pins (1) on the top of the weather-strip with the holes in the door sheet metal.
4. Insert the pocket over the door flange and push down the pins until they are fully seated and there are no gaps between the door and the

weather-strip (3).

5. Insert the pin that is located on the pocket into the door sheet metal until it is fully seated and there is no gap between the door and the weatherstrip

.

6. Complete the installation by tucking the bottom inner edge of the weather-strip (3) into the top door flange.

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and

Repair/Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement).

2. Remove the hinged body side window. Refer to Body Side Window Replacement (Swing Out)   (See: Windows and Glass/Windows/Service and

Repair/Body Side Window Replacement (Swing Out)) Body Side Window Replacement (Stationary)   (See: Windows and Glass/Windows/Service
and Repair/Body Side Window Replacement (Stationary)).

3. Pull the side door window weatherstrip from the window opening pinch-weld flange.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the side door window weatherstrip to the window opening pinch-weld flange.
2. Press the side door window weatherstrip into place.
3. Install the body side window. Refer to Body Side Window Replacement (Swing Out)   (See: Windows and Glass/Windows/Service and

Repair/Body Side Window Replacement (Swing Out)) Body Side Window Replacement (Stationary)   (See: Windows and Glass/Windows/Service
and Repair/Body Side Window Replacement (Stationary)).

4. Install the side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement   (See: Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Front

Side Door Trim Panel Replacement).
